The 88- key DGX-500 comes with a furniture-style wood stand with matching end panels that completes its piano image. The DGX-300 includes all the performance and features of the DGX-500 with the convenience of 76 keys.

The Music Database takes ease of use to new heights. Simply choose from over 200 song settings and the Portable Grand sets itself up for that song with the proper effects, accompaniment, tempo, and styles. It couldn't be easier.

A selection of over 600 voices, including the famous Yamaha XG voice set, add sonic quality and variety far beyond anything else at these price points. Both Portable Grands give direct, easy access to the computer.

Download songs from the internet onto a 3.5" floppy disk drive for the keyboard, or record standard MIDI files from the keyboard and e-mail them to friends, family, or collaborators. The backlit display allows you to select a song from the disk by name.

Many of the functions on these new models have vocal cues that announce the function. The built-in Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) can count down the beat, just as a teacher would. The Y.E.S. function provides both rightand left-handed exercises, a built-in chord dictionary, and interactive functions that grade the playing of exercises. It's the closest thing to having a real teacher.
