The LX6 is a professional 4 in / 6 out, 24 bit, 96 kHz audio interface with a powerful DSP that replaces the need for outboard effects and outboard mixers.
Complete with 4 analog In/6 analog out, S/PDIF digital I/O and MIDI I/O, plus ultra low latency - multiclient drivers making the LX6 the ideal solution for delivering the best from your software of choice including Cubase, Logic, Cakewalk, GigaSampler/Studio, Cool Edit pro etc.
The LX6’s DSP effects allow for monitoring with effects while recording without any latency, similar to monitoring with outboard effects processors. This latency is unavoidable when using plug-in effects or native software effects on input. Integrated within the powerful DSP mixing software, the DSP effects provide a real-time, high-quality recording environment that rivals the real-time performance of outboard compressors, 3-Band EQs, reverb units and outboard mixers.
NOW with ASIO and AWDM drivers for low latency in SONAR, Cubase, Logic, Reason etc.
This bundle comes complete with Cakewalk's acclaimed Pro Audio 9 hard disk recording and sequencing software.
The front panel of the LX6 features (4) balanced 1/4" analog inputs and a convenient headphone jack with output level knob for easy monitoring while tracking, overdubbing or mixing. The Rear panel has (4) balanced 1/4" analog outputs, (2) unbalanced RCA outputs as well as MIDI I/O to provide seamless audio and MIDI integration between hardware and software. Digital S/PDIF I/O on the LX6 host card allows for true 24 bit stereo digital transfers in and out of the computer.
DSP Compressor Add professional punch to your bass and drum tracks to get a massive sound that rivals that of the world's top professional studios. Almost any track comes alive with the smooth and natural sounding circuits that are included in the Direct Pro LX6, completely eliminating the need to buy an outboard compressor.
DSP Multi-Band EQ A transparent 3-Band equalizer with a professionally sweepable mid-range allows you to control your sound with an accuracy that even expensive outboard mixers can't beat. And because the Direct Pro LX6 does it with DSP & software, you can save your settings as presets to make demoing EQ's as easy as point and click.
DSP Reverb All of the classic sounds of an expensive outboard reverb unit are included, complete with the style and finesse of different rooms around the world. The Direct Pro LX6's lush, natural-sounding reverb gives you three ambient settings characteristic of a quiet room, a large hall or even a Classic European style church to make you sound like you never have before.

Mono Rack The 2U Mono Rack is a 2 space, 19" rack plate/rack tray enclosure that gives your Aardvark PC audio gear a truly professional look. The 2U Mono Rack will mount one Aark24, Direct Pro LX6 or Direct Pro 24/96 breakout box flush in the center of the 2U rack.
Dual Rack The 2U Dual Rack will mount two Direct Pro LX6, Direct Pro 24/96 or Aark24 breakout boxes side by side in the same 2U rack!
